My name is Sophia, and I’m obsessed with interiors. Not the unattainable ones you see in magazines, but real homes, lived in by people who lead busy lives and don’t have time to layer their bed with throws and cushions when they get up for work, or the money to afford hand painted wallpaper and bespoke carpentry.

My husband & I have two small (and therefore time consuming!) children & I split my work time across 3 jobs: our online retail business, property management and one day a week as an art technician at at a local school…but any spare time or money I have is spent on our home.

This blog tells the story of how I’m slowly redesigning a once ugly & unloved terraced house on a shoestring-with some tips and favourite budget finds along the way.
